About the event
Frank Ritcey presents a talk on "Keeping your K-9 safe in Snake Country" at the SRD K9s (Search Recovery Detection K9) building in Kamloops on Thursday May 25th at 7 PM. It's an hour-long program with lots of background information about snakes, some wildlife videos, and lots of opportunities for questions and discussions.
If you have a dog and walk about in snake country (at least rattlesnake country) you could attend and help support the SRD K9s program with the modest $20 charge for the evening talk. Or, if you have friends with dogs, you could encourage them to take this course as it could save their dog's life. Or you could just come out and watch the cool videos and learn something about snakes in the Kamloops area. Either way I'd love to see you there.
